人工气候室是不依户外天气变化在密闭空间内的人造气候环境;可根据需要任意设置和精确控制室内的光照、温度、湿度、气压、风速、有害气体成分等诸多气候现象，自动实现四季或昼夜变化。 它不受地理、季节等自然条件的限制，可很容易地模拟出需要的环境。
人工气候室常用于研究环境条件对生物生命活动的影响，也可用于某些生物的栽培、驯化、育种，以及测定其他热湿环境控制设备的性能等工作。目前，人工气候室已广泛应用于海洋、林业、生物、环境污染、农业和宇宙开发等领域。
人工气候室可分为房式、箱式和混合式 3种。房式的有中心控制室和环境控制室;箱式的具有独立控制系统;混合式是指配有人工气候箱的房式人工气候室。

1.温度可调范围： -20℃～50℃
2.恒温精度： ±0.5℃～1.5℃
3.湿度调节范围： 50～95%RH
3.恒湿精度： ±3～7% RH
4.光照调节强度： 0-100000LUX
5.光照强度调节方式： 可分为多段可调 光源可自动升降
6.CO2调节范围： 0-20000ppm(可选)
7.CO2控制精度： +10ppm
