Air duct and air valve

The air valve and the air duct are the components of the laboratory ventilation system, the air duct is mainly the carrier of air flow, the exhaust gas is discharged from the air duct to the outside, the main role of the air valve is to control and regulate the flow and pressure of the ventilation system.

The air duct is generally made of metal or plastic material and is used to connect the fume hood, air valve, filter and other equipment to form a complete ventilation system. The air duct is generally installed by lifting and roof support, and the connection method is socket or flange connection.

The air valve is generally divided into two kinds of regulating valve and switching valve, the regulating valve is mainly used to adjust the flow and pressure of the ventilation system, and the switching valve is used to control the opening and closing of the ventilation system.
