Platform structure
The platform architecture is divided into four levels: data acquisition and environmental control layer, Ethernet transmission layer, data calculation processing layer and application layer, as shown in the figure below.
The data collection and control layer includes the collection of scientific laboratory data and environmental control. Data collection includes laboratory environment, equipment and scientific experimental instruments. The temperature, humidity, and other parameters of the laboratory are sensed by sensors and converted into data that meets industrial standards. Together with the measurement data of scientific laboratory instruments, they are collected by the data front-end equipment through the field bus and uploaded to the data center through Ethernet. At the same time, the data front end also regulates the control objects of the laboratory through the parameters issued by the application layer.
The Ethernet transmission layer provides data and instruction interaction for data acquisition, environmental control, data processing and storage, and laboratory business applications. Through the switch or router, various data and instructions are packaged and transmitted to the Internet/Intranet public network, local area network, and various nodes or front-end equipment through the TCP/IP network protocol. The data protocol is the standard MODBUS RTU protocol, and any general hardware and software supporting this protocol can access the data of the network.
The data calculation processing layer is the data processing and storage center. All data and processing functions and services of the eiLab platform are supported by this layer.
The scientific experiment application layer is to provide users with a humanized operation interface. Users can log in to the platform wherever there is a network connection through mobile terminals such as local computers, remote computers, and smart phones to control the laboratory. Different users grant different permissions, can browse and view laboratory monitoring data and scientific experiment data, and can remotely set the control object.
